Function-Led Assessment & Treatment

How Treatment Works at Bow Fitness

My treatments don’t follow a script, and they don’t always happen entirely on a treatment bed.

At Bow Fitness, I integrate movement into your assessment and treatment because I care about how your body functions, not just how it looks on paper. I don’t see muscles, joints, or systems as separate parts. Your body works as a whole, and I treat it that way.

You might be assessed while walking, squatting, or shifting weight, depending on your concern. This functional, movement-based approach often reveals the root cause of your issue more accurately than static tests alone. It’s a very different experience from lying still on a table for a routine check, and that’s intentional.

No two treatments are ever the same. Everything I do is based on your unique needs, how your body responds in the moment, and what will move you forward.

Sometimes, that includes targeted movement or exercise guidance to support your recovery. But don’t expect a generic list of 10–20 exercises on a sheet of paper. That’s not how I work.

Instead, I give you the minimal effective dose, usually just one, two, or three key movements that are hand-picked to give you the biggest impact. These are chosen based on your individual presentation, your goals, and what your body needs to start feeling and functioning better.

Expect to leave with some homework between sessions, or even after just one, because part of getting better is learning to care for your own body, not relying on me. My goal is always to help you understand your body more clearly and move with more confidence.
